A single, flexible, ultra-thin nano needle is used in the cosmetic tattooing technique known as “nano brows” to produce strokes that are almost identical to your natural hairs. We will discuss the client’s ideal brow form, size, and pigment hues that go well with their complexion during this session. To establish whether further technical expertise is needed, the skin type of the customer is also evaluated (thicker, oilier skin is more difficult to tattoo). The artist then uses a pencil with a sharp, flat edge to pre-draw each brow hair. The customer is then presented with the finished design for final approval.

1. How long does Nanobrows last?

1 to 5 years depending on the pigment colour, your skin type, and how often your skin is exposed to the sun. Since it is considered semi-permanent, it will fade over time and need touching up.

2. How long do the sessions take?

Initial session: ~3 hours
Touch-up session: ~1.5 hours

3. Is it painful?

Everybody’s pain tolerance is different. Some will feel it and others won’t. But don’t worry, a numbing cream is applied which minimizes the pain and I’ll be sure to adjust my technique to make it more comfortable and tolerable for you.

The esthetician herself wasn’t the issue; the real problem is the false promises they make about their laser treatments. From the very beginning, they assured me that after 8 sessions all my hair would be permanently removed. I went every month, and even though the procedure was extremely painful, I trusted that they were increasing the laser intensity properly. After the fourth session, I started developing acne and breakouts on my legs — something that had NEVER happened to me before. When I mentioned it, they simply told me my skin was dry. We continued anyway because the esthetician gave me a cream that, honestly, did absolutely nothing. After the sixth session, I had to wait more than 4 weeks due to lack of time, and during that period all the hair grew back, as if I had never started the treatment. Now I’m left with hair, marks from the breakouts, and the frustration of having wasted money on six sessions that did not work at all—despite their guarantee that after 8 sessions I wouldn’t have any hair left.
